On Wednesday, the Department of Women and Child Development announced that it had successfully transferred Rs 3,000 to the bank accounts of selected beneficiaries as part of a two-month trial phase under the Maharashtra government’s “Ladki Bahin Yojana.” The scheme, which was introduced in the state budget at the end of June, provides Rs 1,500 per month to disadvantaged women aged 21 to 65 years.

Addressing the media, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said, “We have fulfilled our commitment. We promised to transfer Rs 3,000 (for two months) to those women beneficiaries whose bank details have been verified.” Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was speaking about the #Majhi_Ladki_Bahin_Yojana and referenced a poem by poetess Bahinabai. He said, “We have launched the ‘Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin’ scheme in the state. Both the July and August installments will be credited to your account by next week, on August 17, before Raksha Bandhan, and thereafter, you will continue receiving a monthly installment of Rs 1,500. Women who apply by August 31, 2024, will receive three months’ payment at once. On this occasion, Shinde assured support to all women.”

Check the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana Beneficiary List

To check the beneficiary list of the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, you must first install the Nari Shakti Doot App on your phone. After installing, enter some required information and open the application. On the home page, you will see the option for the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Select that option, and you will find an option to view the beneficiary list. Click on it to check the list. If your name is included in the beneficiary list, the funds under the scheme will be transferred to your account. If your name is not on the list, you will not be eligible for the scheme’s benefits.

Check Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana Status on Nari Shakti Doot App

To check the status of the Ladki Bahin Yojana, open the Nari Shakti Doot App on your phone and click on the “Submitted Applications” option. You can then check the status of your application.

If you have applied offline, a message will be sent to your registered mobile number, and you can visit a nearby CSC center, Anganwadi center, Setu Suvidha center, or municipal office to check the status.

Below are the possible statuses of your Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana application and their meanings:

• Status Approved: If your application status shows “Approved,” it means your application has been accepted for the scheme, and the beneficiary will soon start receiving payments.
• Status SMS Verification Pending: This means your application has not yet been sent for review, and no SMS verification has been conducted. Wait for some time to receive an SMS, after which your application will move to “In Review.”
• Status In Review: If your application status shows “In Review,” it means your application is being reviewed. If the documents and information provided are correct and the woman is eligible for the scheme, the application will be accepted.
• Status Pending to Submitted: If your application status shows “Pending to Submitted,” wait for some time, and your application will be sent for review. After the final stage of review, your application will be accepted for the scheme.
• Status Survey Rejected: If your application shows “Survey Rejected,” it means your application has been rejected. Click on the “View Reason” option to see the reason for rejection, and then check your application and reapply.
• Status Rejected & Reapply: An application may be rejected for several reasons, such as incorrect voter ID photo upload. Ensure you upload a clear photo of your voter ID from both sides and reapply for the scheme.

If you see an error related to an incorrect address, ensure you enter the address as per your Aadhaar card or voter ID and resubmit the application.

If your application is rejected due to incorrect income proof documents, such as a yellow or orange ration card photo, correct the issue and reapply.

If you uploaded only one side of the Aadhaar card, your application will be rejected. Click “Edit” and upload both sides of the Aadhaar card.

• Status Disapproved: If your application status shows “Disapproved,” it means your application has been completely rejected. The applicant will need to reapply in this case.
